Happy First Birthday to our Baby Boy!!!
February 1, 2013 was such a special day for us.
I just LOVE birthdays!!!! There's just something "extra" special about your child's actual "birth" day. I held him and took out time to watch him play today. I felt so blessed to have him in our lives. I could remember a year ago today.... how life has changed!!!
John Tanner was especially excited about the "cake" and talked about it all week....
So... Friday finally arrived and it was time for "the special party."
We took Walker's gown off and anxiously awaited to see what he thought about his first cupcake.
John Tanner could hardly wait to eat the "little cupcakes" seen on the table.
He did a great job assisting with blowing out the candle.
Walker didn't seem particularly happy with icing all over his hands so....
He decided to let Bentley lick his hands and who could of predicted what happened next....
Walker was so upset and he cried...
and cried. He actually ended up coughing and almost chocking so we decided to end that...
Opening presents went very well and everyone was much happier...John Tanner got a few gifts too!!
