Walker 1 Month & John Tanner 20 Months....

Happy 1 Month of life Walker...
I can't believe you have been with us for one whole month...we had an extra day with you yesterday... Happy Leap Year!!!
John Tanner has been a GREAT big brother...20 months old...where does time go!! He hugs and kisses you.. always wanting to see what you are doing. It doesn't even bother him when you cry, he keeps on playing or points toward your crib. He loves you so much and we do too!

Just a few of the visitors this past month....
Walker family on their way through to Gatlinburg, Burkleigh Haley, Sawyer & Bryce Ivey, Oliver & Thomas and Heidi, and Liam & Lilly....

A few highlights from the month...*10lbs5oz-Eating 4 to 5 oz each feeding...BIG BOY!!!
*You are smiling, grabbing and holding my hand, and trying to hold your head up.
*You eat about every 2 1/2 or 3 hours, but sometimes you want to eat all the time.

*SPEAKING of BeDtImE... You have been the BEST sleeper... thank you NAP Nanny AND swaddle....YAY... sleeping baby + a rested mommy= HAPPIER DAYS!! You go down about 9ish. You wake up about 1:00am, 4:00am AND 7:00am. You usually sleep all morning while I play with "brother" and wake up around his nap time 1:00pm... this has worked out well for all of us!

You have been the sweetest big brother...it's truly amazes me how independent you are. I totally forgot how much a newborn needs to be held, fed, changed etc... SO.. we do a lot together and that means Mommy does a lot with one arm... reading books, playing blocks, helping you up and down out of the chair or sink to brush your teeth... You really just go with the flow.... unless it's something you REALLY want to do...like.. play in the dishwasher, flush the toilet and play in it, climb up and down the big chairs in kitchen, and push all the buttons on the TV. We've started including you and allowing you to do these things ONE TIME under our supervision... and it has seemed to help the power struggles:)!!

Bath time with Walker is so much fun!!

When a new toy is brought out everyone wants to join in on the FUN!

You still LOVE LOVE LOVE letters! Mama Helen and Pops gave you this puzzle last Christmas so I pulled it out of the attic. You know all the letters in your name.
*You will say.. .uh oh, PopPop, duck, juice, eat, up, mama, but you use a lot of sign language...finished, please, more, thank you...just to name a few.
*You give the best kisses right now... grabbing our face and kissing on the lips:)
*Being outside.. blowing bubbles, pushing anything with wheels, playing in rocks, and climbing on e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g!!!

It's busy busy and it takes Tanner and I both at night to get everything done and keep everyone happy:)!!
We are so excited to have 2 boys...3 counting Bentley!! We look forward to another great month!!
