Baptism November 7, 2010

~Baptism practice was Saturday morning at 10:30.~

Godmother- Emily Clark came from Memphis.  

Mommy and Emily have been friends since 2nd grade.

Godfather- Jon Williams came from Florida.  

Daddy and Jon have been friends since they were 15 yrs old.   

Mommy and Daddy got married at St.Lukes on Dec. 13,  2003. 

We are excited about you becoming a part of the St. Lukes family.

Your Godmother Emily is very talented.  She made homemade cupcakes.

She arranged the flowers for the table and helped me get the house ready for the luncheon.  We used the china for the first time in 7 years.  

Getting ready for the big day.  We arrived at the church 30 mins early to put on your gown.  You dressed in the same room your dad dressed in for the wedding...Tilson Room.  

First, you put on the slip.

 Then the gown and hat.  You didn't wear the hat into the church (only pictures).

 ~Proud Mama Helen~ She made this gorgeous gown.  Your Aunt Shea and Daddy wore it too....so special!

The dress didn't have buttons only gold pins.

My biggest fear....and it happened at 3 pm that afternoon.

Pappaw Roy didn't get to come because he was working, but you got to spend some time with him the next day.  We love you Pappaw!!

This was the most memorial day I've had with you so far.  Your dad and I were so proud of you and were excited to show you off to our church family.  Rich Webster (the priest) kept calling you JT, but not during the mass.  He also baptized you with water from the River Jordan... Mama Helen got it on her trip to Israel.  You slept through the mass and woke up just in time for the baptism.  You have a lot of people that love you and pray for you.
